Rikki-Lee G. Chavez

A native to the Land of Enchantment, Rikki-Lee is dedicated to raising the bar when it comes to analyzing and understanding New Mexico politics.

Rikki-Lee was born and raised in northern New Mexico. After attending the University of New Mexico and the University of New Mexico School of Law, Rikki-Lee became a member of the New Mexico State Bar in 2014, and shortly thereafter opened a legal practice in Tierra Amarilla, New Mexico. The practice focused on criminal defense and legislative advocacy on criminal legal reform measures.  In 2016, Rikki-Lee joined the law firm of Gallagher & Kennedy, P.A., where she had the opportunity to appear on behalf of corporate clients in regulatory settings as well as in state district court.  Most recently, in 2019, Rikki-Lee opened Capitol Counsel & Consulting, LLC in Santa Fe with a focus on government relations.

Randi N. Valverde

Randi was born and raised in southern New Mexico. After attending New Mexico State University and the University of New Mexico School of Law, Randi became a member of the New Mexico State Bar in 2009, and her practice has focused primarily on employment and labor law. From August 2013 to April 2016, Randi was General Counsel for the New Mexico State Personnel Office, and from October 2012 to October 2018, Randi served as a New Mexico Human Rights Commissioner. In 2016, Randi joined the law firm of Montgomery & Andrews, where she became a Shareholder and had the opportunity to represent global and national corporate clients. Most recently, in 2023, Randi joined Capitol Counsel & Consulting, as a partner, with a focus on government relations. Randi’s practice also includes conducting administrative investigations into personnel matters, drafting personnel policies, conducting employee training, and providing strategic policy and media relations advice.
